The Russian occupation "authority" in the Zaporizhzhia region introduced "military censorship" after the legally void decree of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on "martial law" in the occupied territories.
This was reported by one of the representatives of the occupation "leadership" of the region, Volodymyr Rogov.
According to him, from today, October 27, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupying "law enforcement officers" will selectively check the mobile phones of local residents.
The occupiers will seek subscriptions to Ukrainian mass media, which the Russians call "propaganda resources of the terrorist Kyiv regime."
"If a person subscribes to propaganda resources (Ukrainian mass media - ed.), then for the first time he will receive a warning. Violators will be fined in the future," said the occupiers in the Zaporizhia region.
In addition, the Russians threaten criminal responsibility for those who "maliciously violate the demands" of the invading authorities of the region.
We will remind you that the Russian leadership has probably stepped up its censorship efforts among Russian bloggers and military correspondents who cover the war in Ukraine. In the near future, it is expected that the Kremlin will continue to put pressure on the Russian media environment.
Instead, the adviser to the head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, called the true intentions of Russian propaganda.
According to him, in fact, Russia's aggression lies in its desire to destroy its neighbors and restore the Soviet Union.
