Belarus currently does not have a strike group that would be properly equipped to launch a second offensive against

Ukraine

, but

is training personnel to divert Ukraine's attention and forces from the east and south.

This was stated by the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Andriy Chernyak, the press service of the Ministry of Defense informs.

Chernyak noted that dictator Lukashenko, although he is a participant in the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine, since he gave his territory to the occupiers, but he regularly tries to avoid an open invasion of Ukraine.

"Of course, there is a potential danger for Ukraine from the side of Belarus. Attack UAVs are launched from the territory of the Republic of Belarus, which Russia purchased from Iran, and MiG-31K aircraft, which can carry Dagger missiles, have been moved there," Chernyak commented.

In addition, the Russian Federation is currently transferring newly mobilized citizens who do not have the proper weapons or equipment to Belarus by rail.

At the same time, tanks and armored personnel carriers repaired in Belarus are sent, on the contrary, to Russia.

We will remind, on October 27, the deputy chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Gromov, said that the Russian army could once again launch an attack on

Kyiv

from the territory of Belarus.

It can be both from the territory of the Chernobyl zone and from the Chernihiv region.

At the same time, the General Staff currently sees no threat that the enemy will attack directly.

In turn, Serhii Rakhmanin, a member of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence, warned that the

threat of an attack on Ukraine from Belarus has indeed increased.

According to him, there was an intention to create a strike group for an offensive in Belarus.
