The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgar Rinkevičs, believes that the speech of the Kremlin dictator Vladimir
Putin
at "Valdai" is similar to the rehearsal of the defense speech in The Hague.
The minister
wrote
about this on Twitter.
"It's almost like a rehearsal of a defense speech at the International Tribunal in The Hague or in Nuremberg," Rinkevichs wrote, commenting on Putin's statement that "it was not Russia, but the West that led to today's situation and events in Ukraine."
What Putin said during his speech at "Valdai"
Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin
accused the West
of inciting the war in Ukraine, which he had personally unleashed.
He also
blamed
the fact that the West, after Russia attacked Ukraine, froze the gold and currency reserves of the aggressor.
The head of the Kremlin also
spoke
about a possible nuclear attack on Ukraine.
According to him, allegedly Russia does not need him.
At the same time, he again accused Kyiv of creating a "dirty bomb".
