President Rumen Radev hands over the first mandate to form a government.

After the election of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Budget 2023 is the next hot topic among the parties in the National Assembly.

"Without a stable parliamentary majority, it is better for the Ministry of Finance not to submit the budget, because it will become a jam. There will be bidding, such as the requests that were given last week. There are parties that would spend even more than this 6.6% pledged deficit." commented the deputy from "Democratic Bulgaria".

"Democratic Bulgaria" is a center-right political association, composed by Vladislav Panev in the studio of "Bulgaria in the morning".

Martin Dimitrov: If these people who elected Vezhdi Rashidov form a government, I will be a little scared

The national representative predicts a rise in mortgage interest rates until the end of the year, which will drastically increase contributions, in some cases even double.

"The most important thing is to realize where we are at the moment, the global crisis will come to Bulgaria as well. Migration may be an alternative for young families. We have a proposal for tax breaks for families with children, not to pay taxes on a larger sum. It's a matter of finding a majority. This is a social measure, our selfish interest is to have young people who will pay our pensions in 20 years," Panev told Bulgaria ON AIR.

According to him, the estimated deficit of 6.6% underestimated the revenues.

And in the future negotiations to form a government, the priority will be the financial stability of the state.

"We will probably be invited to negotiations by "Continuing the change". We

will not give support at any price, we would not agree to an excessively wasteful budget.

Bulgaria is not in great danger, our public finances are quite good," added Panev.
