, they will start installing sirens that will notify about the threat.

This was reported by the Estonian broadcasting company ERR.

The first sirens are planned to be installed in Tallinn and its surroundings by the end of 2022.

In the future, the system will be expanded to other large settlements.

It is planned to install systems in 22 settlements of the country by the summer of 2023.

Sirens will be activated in the event of a military threat, major disasters and emergency situations.

It is assumed that the systems will be installed on the walls of tall structures, such as telecommunication masts, pipes, etc.

The Information Technology Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country and the Rescue Department of Estonia concluded a contract for the purchase of sirens with the Slovak company Telegrafia.

The Estonian authorities have allocated 4.5 million euros for the creation of a system of notification of a threat with the help of sirens.

Earlier, Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu said that he would like to

Therefore, Reinsalu emphasized that Germany and Western countries should increase their efforts to supply Ukraine with military equipment and introduce tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation.
