Australia will hand over 30 more Bushmaster armored personnel carriers, which have proven themselves well at the front, in particular during the liberation of Kharkiv region, to Ukrainian defenders.

"I am grateful to Australia for the new package of security assistance, which includes training for our military and 30 additional Bushmasters. These armored vehicles have shown excellent results on the battlefield, and Ukraine has requested an additional batch. We will always remember Australia's support," the minister said .

It should be noted that Australian Bushmaster armored personnel carriers helped the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to conduct a successful counteroffensive in the Kharkiv direction.

In particular, the Armed Forces with the help of Bushmaster went to the Oskil River.

As ABC.news writes, a contingent of 70 Australian servicemen will be deployed in Great Britain to

train

their Ukrainian colleagues.

The publication notes that this week in the Australian budget, more than

200 million US dollars

were allocated for additional aid to Ukraine, including

185.6 million

US dollars for defense aid.

Australia's total financial support to Ukraine now exceeds

, including $475 million in military aid.

In addition to the Bushmasters, Australia provided six M777 towed howitzers and ammunition, 28 M113 armored vehicles, as well as anti-tank weapons and other weapons.
