The Ministry of External Affairs of India has advised Indian citizens in Ukraine to leave the country as soon as possible and go to neighboring countries.

APA reports referring to "The Economic Times" that the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arindam Bagchi has sent instructions to the Indian Embassy in Ukraine to ensure the rapid passage of citizens through the checkpoints on the borders of Ukraine with Hungary, Poland, Moldova, Slovakia and Romania.

The instructions sent to the embassy contain a list of possible routes for exiting Ukraine and a list of necessary documents for crossing the border.

It should be recalled that last week, the Indian Embassy in Ukraine stated that it continues its activities, and that the evacuation of the diplomatic mission or the removal of its staff from Kyiv is not yet planned.
