Military convoys have traveled over 2,000 km.

The NATO Battle Group in Romania was formed in May by transforming the multinational allied elements of the NATO Response Force deployed in the country.

Following France's offer to take on the role of a framework state, the French battalion stationed in Romania, considered the very high-reaction spearhead of NATO's forces, formed a forward battle group on the territory of the country, integrating on a rotational basis troops from Belgium and the Netherlands , specifies the Romanian Ministry of Defense.
