Russia is likely using a large number of Iranian

Shahed-136

drones

to "penetrate" increasingly effective Ukrainian air defense.

This is stated in the daily report of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain dated October 24.

It is noted that Russia continues to use Iranian drones for attacks on Ukraine.

However, the efforts of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces to shoot down the Shaheds are becoming more and more successful.

"Official sources, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, claim that up to 85% of attacks are intercepted. These UAVs are slow, noisy and fly at low altitudes, making single aircraft easy targets for conventional air defenses," the report said.

The British Ministry of Defense suggests that

Russia uses kamikaze drones as a replacement for Russian-made high-precision, long-range weapons

, which are becoming increasingly scarce.

Attacks of Ukraine by kamikaze drones

The troops of the Russian Federation, which invaded Ukraine on a full scale on February 24, actively use Iranian-made kamikaze drones for attacks on peaceful cities of Ukraine, destroying critical infrastructure, homes of civilians, killing citizens.

The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that

Russia received 1,700 drones from Iran

 and ordered new batches.

To shoot down enemy drones, Ukraine needs an air defense system.

According to the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, during the last two weeks, the Ukrainian military managed to

shoot down 85% of Iranian Shahed-136 drones

launched by the Russian Federation.

The Jerusalem Post, citing official Ukrainian sources, reports that Ukraine's defense forces have

eliminated 10 Iranian instructors who were teaching the Russian military how to launch kamikaze drones.

The instructors "directly monitor the launches of drones on Ukrainian civilian objects, including strikes on Mykolaiv and Odesa."

Meanwhile, Iranian instructors who allegedly train the Russian military and control the launch of kamikaze drones have been

spotted in Belarus.

According to information from Belarusian partisans, it was these instructors who probably coordinated the launches of the "Shahed-136" UAV on infrastructure facilities in Kyiv region and the northern and western regions of Ukraine.

However, Iran officially denies the information transmitted to the Russian Federation by drones.

The Kremlin is also

lying

, they say they have no information about Russia's purchase of Iranian kamikaze drones.

Putin's spokesman Dmytro Peskov advises asking all questions to the Ministry of Defense.
