PM Modi reached Kargil to celebrate Diwali
PM Narendra Modi has reached Kargil in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
They are celebrating Diwali here with the soldiers of the army.
Ever since Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister in the year 2014, he always celebrates the festival of Diwali with the soldiers.
This year PM Modi celebrated the festival with soldiers in Kargil, Ladakh.
Addressing soldiers as his "family", PM Modi said: "My

The sweetness and brightness are between you."
PM Modi said, "There has not been a single war with Pakistan where Kargil has not hoisted the victory flag. Diwali means celebration with the end of terror. That's what Kargil did too. For me, years and years." Since you are my family, the sweetness of my Diwali increases with you, the light of my Deepawali is among you, and my position extends till the next wall.
The Prime Minister has been celebrating Diwali with soldiers for many years.
In 2014, months after becoming prime minister, Prime Minister Modi accompanied soldiers to Siachen to celebrate the festival.
The following year, he celebrated Diwali with soldiers on the Punjab border.
In 2016, PM with Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel at a checkpoint in Lahaul-Spiti, Himachal Pradesh

In 2017, he had visited a border post in Gurez Valley in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.
In 2018, Prime Minister Modi with personnel of the Indian Army and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in Harsil, Uttarakhand.

After this he worshiped in Kedarnath Dham.
In 2019, the Prime Minister visited Rajouri district along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

celebrated.
He called the soldiers as his family and praised them for guarding the borders even during festivals.
He accompanied Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel at Pathankot Air Force Station.

The following year, the Prime Minister met soldiers and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
