We must strive for the creation of a majority structure to produce a government.

Under construction, I foresee a majority of 160+ MPs.

This may or may not be a coalition. I am ready to work with any party on issues where we have common ground.

This is what the leader of "Bulgarian Rise

"Bulgarian Rise" defines itself as a national conservative political party, but" (BV) Stefan Yanev

By decree of President Rumen Radev dated May 12, 2021, Stefan Yanev was appointed acting.

In his words, the first day of the National Assembly seems to have been foretold.

"It was known that it wouldn't work because the parties went into their typical pre-election rhetoric. At the end of the first day, I proposed a solution - to unite around one person that all 240 MPs would support, and the second option is to get a majority" , he stated

and added that even with "Vazrazhdane" there are no dividing lines so strong that there is no path to consensus.

What did "Bulgarian Rise" and the contact group agree on?

He emphasized that in the coming months the question of judicial reform should be resolved.

There is a hidden bet in it.

"I have nothing against any party.

I am ready to work with any party, on topics on which we coincide", Yanev said and confirmed that on the topic of "Judicial Reform" they coincide with "Continuing the change"

.

"If we do not deal with the judicial reform, the money under the Recovery Plan will not come," Yanev said.

As for the construction of 160+ votes, Yanev explained that it may or may not be a coalition.

"If it is a coalition, it will be able to appoint a cabinet."

If it is not possible, let's look at the budget for next year and go to the elections", said Yanev.

According to him, from the very beginning, the party answered him that it would go to talks with anyone who sent it an invitation.

"When the leaders sit down at the table to have a serious conversation, I will also sit down. The meeting with the contact group was to explore the position. Let's see if there is a basis for continuing the dialogue," Yanev explained.

And he specified that BV's support for Rashidov is a continuation of the party's principles.

Stefan Yanev: This is a coalition for the Speaker of the National Assembly

"We are not against giving weapons to Ukraine if they are replaced because we don't have surplus weapons.

We see that others think so too," he pointed out.

And he denied that he exerted pressure for the release of Alexander Nikolov as Deputy Minister of Energy.
