Russian President Vladimir Putin, after warning the US about the consequences of using

nuclear weapons,

developed a different war strategy against Ukraine.

Political scientist Andriy Piontkovskyi told about it on the Espresso TV channel.

"Moscow developed a different strategy after warnings were given by the top US leadership to Putin personally that if nuclear weapons were used in Ukraine, he would personally be killed, and Russia would face severe consequences. The details were deciphered by retired generals Petraeus and Godges - within half an hour there will be destroyed the Black Sea Fleet with its coastal bases, and then, if this is not enough, NATO conventional forces engage in direct combat with the Russian armed forces," Piontkovsky explained.

According to the political scientist, the Russian leadership declared that a nuclear war was impossible, so they decided to destroy Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

"The Russian Federation came to the following conclusion:

we do not need a nuclear war, we will destroy the Ukrainian infrastructure. We will

drive it into the 18th century, with conventional weapons we will destroy the energy infrastructure, the fuel and energy complex, railways, and so on. And they began to implement this strategy, and have been implemented for the second week," the expert summed up.

Putin's nuclear terror

Russian President Vladimir Putin threatens to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine.

NATO Secretary General

Jens Stoltenberg said

that even Russia's use of low-power nuclear weapons will fundamentally change the nature of the war in Ukraine, and this, of course, will have consequences.

And the high representative of the EU Josep Borrell said that in this case the

Russian army will be destroyed by non-nuclear means.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated that Putin's use of

nuclear weapons is possible only in theory,

but in practice it is actually unrealistic.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that the

world allows Russia to continue its nuclear blackmail

in the war against Ukraine.

Foreign leaders should make Putin understand that the Russian Federation will receive a similar response to the use of nuclear weapons.
