A driver from Ukraine in Poland received a record number of penalty points at one time.

This is reported by the website of the local police.

In Tarnavatka-Tartak, Tomasziv County, Lublin Voivodeship, a traffic violator - a 40-year-old citizen of Ukraine - was found.

Law enforcement officers stopped a BMW car, which exceeded the speed by 26 km/h and overtook other vehicles before the pedestrian crossing.

The violation was recorded by a police team that patrolled the highway in a car without identification marks, and which is equipped with a video recorder.

A 40-year-old citizen of Ukraine was driving the car.

For his violations, he received a fine of PLN 1,900 and 21 penalty points.

It should be noted that in Poland penalty points are charged for traffic violations.

The maximum possible number of penalty points on the driver's account is 24, after which his license is taken away and he is deprived of the right to drive a car.

Drivers with experience of less than 1 year have limits of 20 points, and drivers with experience of 2 years or more - 24 points.

We will remind that on the Polish highway "Lublin - Chelm" Ukrainian drivers caused a large-scale accident among themselves.

A regular bus, a minibus, a tow truck and a truck collided.

All vehicles were driven by citizens of Ukraine.
