Military expert Oleg Zhdanov explained whether the mass missile attack of the Russian Federation could have included a missile with a nuclear warhead.

The expert reassured that this is unrealistic.

"This is not the case when there is a missile with a cluster warhead and a high-explosive warhead at the firing position. And the command chooses which one to launch. This is not the case with nuclear weapons," explained Zhdanov.

According to him, no one but Putin can make the decision to use nuclear weapons in Russia.

In addition, Putin does not make such fateful decisions himself.

"He is afraid. He always places the responsibility on everyone - he convenes the Security Council, some meetings, and there they all publicly express their support for Putin's actions," the expert says.

Zhdanov recalled the statement of British intelligence: as soon as the Kremlin talks about the possibility of using nuclear weapons, the West will already know about it.

"It is quite possible that there will be a reaction to the attempt to use nuclear weapons, and not to the fact of use itself. Therefore, to think that a missile with a nuclear warhead is hiding somewhere is impossible," he concluded.

Nuclear threat 

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that even Russia's use of low-power nuclear weapons would fundamentally change the nature of the war in Ukraine, and this, of course, would have consequences.

And the high representative of the EU Josep Borrell said that in this case the Russian army will be destroyed by non-nuclear means.

The former head of the CIA, David Petraeus, even named possible targets that will be attacked by the US in response to a nuclear attack by the Russian Federation.

We are talking about the sinking of the Black Sea Fleet, strikes on military bases in Crimea and Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine.

American philosopher and political scientist Francis Fukuyama admits that Putin can use nuclear weapons, but then NATO and the USA will enter the war. 

President Zelenskyi commented on the statements of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Serhii Shoigu that Ukraine allegedly produced a "dirty bomb".

Zelensky emphasized that only Russia can use nuclear weapons in Europe.
