Military expert

Oleg Zhdanov

explained why Russia transfers equipment from Belarus and takes it there.

He told about this on his YouTube channel.

"Yesterday, I said that the Russian Federation is acting illogically: it takes equipment out of Belarus and takes it to Belarus. That's what one of the viewers wrote. But it's simple. In Belarus, the factories have been preserved, so Comrade Putin takes Lukashenko's equipment, and he takes it out of storage for spare parts , modernizes and brings to Comrade Putin," the expert explained.

According to Zhdanov, there is an opportunity in Belarus to download enterprises in order to modernize Russia's equipment.

"Lukashenko has preserved the production base of the Soviet Union and has the opportunity to load enterprises, provide jobs, pay salaries, Russia pays for all this. There is a lot of money in Russia, they can drive echelons here and there from the Far East to Belarus, from Belarus to the Krasnodar region or Rostovsk region. Especially since I look at it this way, that in Belarus there is newer equipment, they are removing T-72A, T-80 there, and in the Russian Federation they are removing T-62. For some reason, there are no more T-72s left there," he said.

The threat of an attack by Belarus on Ukraine

Minsk has been helping Russia in the war since the first days of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In particular, the territory of the republic became a bridgehead for launching missiles across Ukraine.

In October, Lukashenko and Putin decided to jointly deploy troops.

On the night of October 15, a military echelon arrived from the Russian Federation for a joint regional grouping of troops.

On October 20, the head of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Gromov, said at a briefing that the threat of an attack on Ukraine by Belarus is increasing, but it is not about an attack on Kyiv.

This time, the occupying forces can go to the west of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border.

The Ukrainian army appealed to Belarusians not to carry out the criminal orders of Lukashenka.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that in the event of an open entry of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus into the war, they will give a strong response to this step.

The Ukrainian military assured that Ukraine has never threatened and does not threaten Belarus today.
