The 86.4-kilometer to 86.6-kilometer Yingshi road section of Beiheng Highway Taiwan No. 7 collapsed on October 16, and the 200-meter-long road It was buried by earth and stone, and the Maintenance Engineering Office of the Fourth District of the General Administration of Highways repaired it day and night. Today, at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, a 480-meter-long access road (gravel graded pavement) was constructed and the road continued to rain in the disaster area.

The Fourth Engineering Office said that on the 86.4-kilometer to 86.6-kilometer section of the Taiwan-7 Line, a slope of about 200 meters above the road collapsed, causing the 200-meter-long road to be buried with earth and stones. Personnel and machinery were repaired day and night, using unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) aerial photography, rolling adjustment of the repair strategy, and the road was cleared today.

The fourth construction office explained that the road rush is still in the nature of the road in the early stage. The speed is limited to 30 kilometers, and the passage of vehicles with a total weight of more than 21 tons is prohibited. In addition, after the road is opened to traffic today, the front and rear sections of the disaster must continue to clear and transport landslides, slope protection, and roadbed reinforcement. As for the severely damaged section of the road from 65km to 85km on Line 7 (the section from Mingchi to Baitaoqiao), of which 65km to 74km, the equipment at the west end is advanced to 74km, the east end is 76.1km, and the 76.1km is to 83km. At the kilometer, it will step up to clear the collapse and build the roadbed. It is expected to be cleared on October 31.

0.5 kilometers of Taiwan 7A line (Qilan road section) has been repaired for two-way traffic, but the collapsed soil and stone on the shoulder still need to be transported away.
