[Instant News/Comprehensive Report] Former U.S. President Trump has been mired in lawsuits after leaving office.

Now it is reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) searched Trump's Florida residence during August and found a possession of highly astute documents about China and Iran.

The classified documents, which relate to China's intelligence work and reports related to Iran's missile program, are among the most astute information the FBI has unearthed at Trump's home, according to people familiar with the matter, The Washington Post reported.

Experts said the disclosure of the information in the documents could pose risks such as jeopardizing the safety of those assisting U.S. intelligence workers and harming cooperative relationships with each other.

The Justice Department is investigating whether Trump violated the law by bringing about 100 classified documents to his Florida home after he leaves office in January 2021.

The Justice Department is also figuring out whether Trump or his team obstructed official business during the FBI search of his residence, and has warned of more missing classified documents.

David Laufman, the former head of the Justice Department's counterintelligence division, said the nature of the documents may be one of the factors that will be heavily weighted when prosecutors consider whether to prosecute, "the extraordinary level of sensitivity and recklessness of the documents. Exposes invaluable sources and means of U.S. intelligence capabilities, which will certainly have implications for the Justice Department's decision to prosecute Trump and others under the Espionage Act."
