For us, the question is not simply where the proposal will come from and what the name is, but what the formula is.

This was stated by the co-chairman of "Democratic Bulgaria

"Democratic Bulgaria" is a center-right political association composed of "Hristo Ivanov".

He was born on September 13, 1974 in Sofia.

Hristo Ivanov has a master's degree in law from Sofia University.

"There are two principles.

One is a political formula – a certain group of parties with 121 deputies gather around one figure and elect.

It has given rise to questions like, 'Ah, but are you going to govern together?'

"The other logic that we propose is to depoliticize this process in order to have a chairman," continued Ivanov.

According to him, the normal way is for the election of the president to be part of the formation of a governing majority and not just to start the legislative process, stressing that this is a central political issue.

"Perhaps the conversation should start from the question of whether there will actually be a government, and then the majority, which can configure itself around some idea, program and direction, choose a president," he also believes.

When asked how the process will be depoliticized, he replied: "By choosing this figure in the context that I will share my powers, whether with someone else or with the vice-presidents.

The options are not very traditional, they are complicated, but they would allow everyone to explain why they voted for it and to unclog the process."

"Vigenin's proposal is not in one or the other direction of what we are discussing," he added.
