Military expert

Oleg Zhdanov

explained why Ukraine does not dismantle communication routes with Russia and Belarus.

According to him, these roads are already mined.

He announced this on his YouTube channel.

"How do you imagine dismantling? That is, should we bring in engineering equipment, open the asphalt, make a pit instead of a road surface? Shall we dismantle the railway bed and remove crushed stone, sleepers and everything else? No, today this issue is solved by engineering means. Believe me, all railway crossings roads, highways, pedestrian crossings are mined," Zhdanov said.

According to him, there are even reports of blown-up bridges in Belarus.

"By the way, the head of the Belarusian border guard said that we even blew up all the bridges. So you can not worry in this sense, where possible, everything was blown up, where there was nothing to explode, everything was mined. There are even photos on the Internet, the Belarusians are distributing them, they led shooting, how we block railway tracks, car tracks, etc. So everything there is closed, buried, mined and surrounded by barbed wire. We are ready. We have been preparing for eight months to reflect a possible invasion from the side of Belarus," said the expert.

The threat of an attack by Belarus on Ukraine

Minsk has been helping Russia in the war since the first days of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In particular, the territory of the republic became a bridgehead for launching missiles across Ukraine.

In October, Lukashenko and Putin decided to jointly deploy troops.

On the night of October 15, a military echelon arrived from the Russian Federation for a joint regional grouping of troops.

On October 20, the head of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Gromov, said at a briefing that the threat of an attack on Ukraine by Belarus is increasing, but it is not about an attack on Kyiv.

This time, the occupying forces can go to the west of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border.

The Ukrainian army appealed to Belarusians not to carry out the criminal orders of Lukashenka.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that in the event of an open entry of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus into the war, they will give a strong response to this step.

The Ukrainian military assured that Ukraine has never threatened and does not threaten Belarus today.
