United24 drone fundraising platform three weeks ago.

In general, the results of the work shocked even the actor himself.

Mark Hamill admitted that during this time he managed to collect a considerable amount of money, which was used to purchase 500 drones for the Armed Forces.

"I was really shocked because they [the fundraisers] at least two or three times a week let me know what's going on and they said they've received over 500 drones since I started this to do," said the actor, writes Bloomberg.

The celebrity also shared that Ukraine urgently needs drones.

Drones are a great help to the Armed Forces at the front.

"Ukraine needs drones. They determine the outcome of the war, they protect their land, their people, they monitor the border, they are eyes in the sky," Mark emphasized.

The "Army of Drones" project is a comprehensive program of the fundraising platform UNITED24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and State Special Communications, which provides for the systematic purchase of drones, their repair and prompt replacement, as well as a pilot training course.

Earlier, the American singer and actress Barbra Streisand also

joined the

UNITED24 platform.

She helps raise funds for the medical needs of Ukrainians.
