At some point, the conflict in Ukraine will end diplomatically, but the United States has yet to see an effort on the part of Russia to take steps in this direction.

APA reports that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said this during an interview with ABC TV.

"As the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said, this conflict will eventually end diplomatically.

"At the moment, we do not see the desire of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to engage in diplomacy to resolve the conflict," Blinken added.

It should be noted that the negotiations between the delegations of Russia and Ukraine began on February 28 of this year, a few days after the start of special military operations.

Several meetings were held in Belarus and then continued in video format.

At the end of March, a new round of negotiations began in Istanbul, Turkey.
