More than 40 civilians were killed and injured in Russian

shelling

during the past day, October 17.

This was reported by Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko in Telegram.

According to his data, as of the morning of October 18, the largest number of victims of Russian aggression since yesterday was in the Donetsk region.

There were 14 dead civilians (including 8 killed earlier) and 8 wounded. 

In the city of Kyiv - 5 dead, 4 wounded.

As a result of the Russian attack in the Zaporizhzhia region, five people were injured;

in Zhytomyr region - 1 wounded.

One civilian died in Mykolaiv Oblast.

From Russian shelling in the Sumy region - 1 injured;

in the Kharkiv region - 3 wounded.

We will remind you that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that as a result, as of October 10,

occupiers destroyed 30% of Ukrainian power plants.

 The head of state emphasized that such actions of the Russian army make negotiations with the Kremlin dictator impossible.

According to him, "there is no room left for dialogue with Putin's regime."

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that 

Russia is trying to intimidate Ukrainians,

 leave them without electricity and heat.

Such actions of the Kremlin are agony, the same that the world has already observed 78 years ago.

Ukraine under fire

In the morning of October 18, Russian troops continued shelling Ukraine.

The enemy attacked a number of large cities of Ukraine with drones and missiles, in particular, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih. 

In a number of cities, energy infrastructure facilities have been hit.
