The Russians have modernized Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, which can be used by Iran to attack Israel.

This was stated by Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military-political analyst of the "Information Resistance" group, in an interview with MONEY, UNIAN informs.

According to the expert, the Russian Federation has changed the guidance system in drones, which allows them to attack more accurately and from a distance, and, accordingly, makes them more dangerous.

Kovalenko believes that Israel has noticed this modernization and will use the drones modified by Russia for its own purposes.

"Today we see Shahed-136 with Russian GLONASS (control units. - Ed.) in Ukraine. And what is the guarantee that tomorrow or in a week the same Shahed-136 with more precision will not strike targets in Tel Aviv? We see how massively Russia uses drones against Ukraine. What prevents Iran from using them against Israel? Similarly, with the same swarm of dozens of units, to break through air defense," said the expert.

The use of kamikaze drones by the Russians against Ukraine

Recently, in addition to missile strikes, Russia has begun to actively use Iranian-made kamikaze drones for attacks.

With them, the occupiers hit infrastructure objects, as well as the houses of civilians.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba announced on October 18 that because of this he

initiated the break in diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Iran

However, Iran officially denies the information transmitted to the Russian Federation by drones.

The Kremlin is also

lying

, they say they have no information about Russia's purchase of Iranian kamikaze drones.

Putin's spokesman Dmytro Peskov advises asking all questions of the Ministry of Defense.

Instead, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, announced on October 11 that, according to his data,

Russia had ordered 2,400 Shahid kamikaze drones from Iran.

And ISW stated that Russia probably concluded a contract with Iran regarding the

purchase of Arash-2 drones

.

However, according to analysts, it is unlikely that the Russian military will use the Arash-2 more effectively than the Shahed-136.
