Many people are afraid of Monday.

The first day of the week after getting a carefree weekend off from work, many people don't like it at all.

Many jokes have also been made about going to work on Monday.

users find this day very slow and boring.

But now,

Guinness World Records

(GWR) has also taken note of the nostalgia against Monday and declared it the "worst day of the week". "We officially hold the record for the worst day on Monday," Guinness World Records wrote on its official Twitter handle on Monday.

Twitter users are happy that someone has finally recognized it.

A Guinness World Record post tweeted from Angry Birds Character Red's official page.

He wrote, "You took too long", to which Guinness World Records responded, "I know."

Another user wrote, "That's why I take Monday off," GWR replied, "smart".

Another user has demanded that the name of Wednesday should be changed as it does not sound good.  

Many influencers and celebrities keep on telling ways to overcome the 'Monday blues'.

Among them is industrialist Anand Mahindra who also advises his followers on life goals.   

From its inception until 1999, it was known as the Guinness Book of Records.

Record books were published every year in which human achievements and records of the natural world were printed.  


Guinness World Records has printed 143 million copies so far and is now a global brand.

It has offices in London, New York, Beijing, Tokyo and Dubai.

The people associated with it are spread all over the world.
