In Paris, a 24-year-old woman raped and killed a 12-year-old girl, and hid the child's body in a suitcase and hid it in the trunk of a car.

On October 17, Paris investigators charged a woman with the rape and murder of a child whose body was found in the trunk the day before.

It is known that the accused suffers from psychiatric disorders.

The woman was previously interrogated together with an elderly man suspected of sheltering her.

The judge decided to take the accused into custody.

As reported by the prosecutor's office, during the interrogation, the woman

of the case."

But she eventually said she brought the girl, identified only as Lola, to her sister's apartment.

There, the perpetrator forced the child to take a shower.

The woman said she then

that caused her death and hid her body in the trunk," prosecutors said. 

The autopsy data indicate that the girl died as a result of "cardio-respiratory failure with signs of asphyxia and compression of the cervix."

Other non-fatal wounds were found on her face and back, and large wounds were also found on her neck.

A 43-year-old man, who was also questioned in this case, admitted that he brought the 24-year-old woman to his home with two suitcases in the trunk.

According to the man, the intruder stayed with him for two hours, and then went somewhere again by car with another driver.  

The woman was arrested after investigators tracked her movements through surveillance cameras, phone records and physical searches.

Meanwhile, Lola's parents called the police after their daughter did not return from school on the afternoon of October 14.

Her father, a building security guard, was confused to see an unidentified woman enter the building with his daughter while checking CCTV footage.

An eyewitness, who also saw the suspect at the scene, said she offered him money to help move the large luggage.

The child's body was first discovered by a homeless man

It was hidden under a cloth in a plastic box in the courtyard of the building.

Law enforcement officers detained six people, including the suspect's sister, who were in contact with her immediately after the murder.

It will be recalled that at the beginning of October, law enforcement officers detained a 39-year-old man who tried to kill his 12-year-old stepson in the Belotserkiv district of the Kyiv region.

The man brutally abused the child and strangled him with a cable.
