On Bagua Mountain, the Baoshan Campus of Changhua Normal University went to Baoshan Road in Qikuang. Rows of big banyan trees could not withstand the strong wind and were instantly broken. Some of them were uprooted, and the broken tree trunks occupied the road and blocked traffic. The municipal office dispatched cleaning staff to cut off the remaining trunks and clean up the branches. It took more than an hour to restore the road.

Tanaka Meteorological Station said that due to the dual influence of the typhoon and the northeast monsoon, the coastal winds of the whole Taiwan are very strong, reaching strong gusts. It is expected to continue until tomorrow, and it will reach the strongest today. The maximum average wind force may reach level 8 and gust level 11. Yueyu Port and other places should pay attention to strong winds, and the suspension should be strengthened.
