[Reporter Cai Zongxian/Pingtung Report] The headquarters of the 8th patrol area of the Coast Guard Department received a notification that there was a diver in the waters about 1 mile away from Chuanfanshi, Kenting, when the circulation and rain outside the typhoon were strong at noon today. The passenger lost contact after leaving the port on a rubber raft, and immediately dispatched the Hengchun Sea Patrol to rescue them. Fortunately, they were successfully rescued within an hour.

The Hengchun Coast Guard rushed to the notified area immediately after receiving the report. The typhoon's peripheral circulation caused strong swells, and the walrus was about 6-7 with a gust of level 9. It was determined that the diver drifted to the southwest coast at the launching point. After expanding the search of the sea area by the coast guard, it was found that the diver was not physically strong enough to drift on the sea surface 1 mile away from the shore.
