Russia's defeat in the war against Ukraine may "push"

China

to active actions against the Russian Federation.

Russian publicist Andriy Piontkovsky told Channel 24 about it.

In his opinion, Beijing can also use the Kremlin's ideological narratives to its advantage.

"After the victory of Ukraine, a period of turmoil in Russia and the weakening of the central government will begin in the near future. After that,

China will take care of several million Chinese-speaking workers who live between the Pacific Ocean and the "North Sea" - that's how the Chinese call Lake Baikal

," said the publicist.

Piontkovsky suggested that for China it will be a matter of "restoring historical justice."

According to him, there may be such a situation that Beijing will try to return "all Chinese-speaking and close-in-spirit Russians."

"It will be bad for all Russians and China will want to return all Chinese-speaking and kindred Russians, who liked to speak in Russia 8 years ago, to their "native Chinese harbor". That is why these Russian citizens will be "helped", Piontkovsky added.

It will be recalled that the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin, stated that China treats Russia as its vassal, and if the process of disintegration begins in the Russian Federation,

Beijing will be interested in creating several puppet states on its lands.

However, Klimkin noted that today China is not interested in Putin's defeat in the war with Ukraine.

In turn, the current head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, is convinced that the current position of China, which is in no hurry to help Russia, is beneficial to Ukraine

"Who benefits from China's current position? Of course, Ukraine, not Russia.

Russia would like to receive a much larger share.

Would we like to receive more from China? Of course, we would. But, realistically weighing the situation, we understand that the current position - it's a position we can work with."
