On Sunday, October 16, near Uzhgorod, Zakarpattia Oblast, a policeman fatally shot a 15-year-old boy who was crossing the road. 

This is reported by the SBI. 

According to the investigation, the 15-year-old boy was crossing the road in the crosswalk.

There he was hit by a car driven by a police officer.

The boy died from his injuries at the scene of the tragedy.

The law enforcement officer was driving his own car during off-duty hours.

He was sober at the time of the accident.

The policeman was immediately detained.

He is charged with part 2 of Art.

286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Road accident in Ukraine 

In Ukraine, despite the war, fatal road accidents continue to occur.

So, in the Rivne region, the driver of a Volkswagen B5 lost control and crashed into a tree.

A 20-year-old man died at the scene of the accident.

In October, a car and a passenger bus collided in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Children were injured in the accident.
