[Reporter Cai Sipei/Taipei Report] There was a heavy rain in Taipei City yesterday, and disasters occurred in various places. The soil, rocks and road trees at the entrance of the Kangle Tunnel in Neihu District collapsed and fell, making the tunnel unable to pass in both directions for a time. It was opened to traffic this morning.

Taipei mayoral candidates Chen Shizhong, Huang Shanshan, and Jiang Wanan all went to investigate the disaster late last night.

A member of the Green Camp said that Chen Shizhong immediately stopped the election activities to investigate the disaster, but Jiang Wanan continued to run the election schedule. Who is qualified to be the mayor and judge.

Huang Shanshan arrived at the scene of the Lake Tunnel at about 7 o'clock last night, accompanied by Chen Youcheng, a member of the People's Party.

Chen Shizhong said on Facebook yesterday that he was worried that the rain would cause disasters. He canceled all trips in the evening, went to Dahu Park and the Kanghu Tunnel to care about the situation, and inspected with civil engineers and water conservation technicians, hoping that all citizens would be safe.
