Shen, high support gap, small election still stalemate

[Reporter Lin Liangsheng/Taipei Report] The competition for the mayoral election in Hsinchu is fierce. The latest poll by this newspaper shows that the support of DPP candidate Shen Huihong is 28.

Ninety-eight percent, Kuomintang candidate Lin Gengren 13.

Forty-four percent, the People's Party candidate Gao Hongan 26.

Thirty-nine percent, non-party candidates Gong Weilun, Huang Yuanfu, and Li Jiqun were each 0.

Forty-eight percent, one.

Twenty-five percent, ○.

Seventy-seven percent, twenty-eight.

Sixty-nine percent have not yet decided (including refusal to answer).

According to the poll results, the difference in support between Shen and Gao is only two.

Five to nine percentage points, showing that the two are in a stalemate, and Lin is obviously behind.

In the optimism part, polls show that Gao Hongan is the most optimistic, up to 32.

The survey was conducted by the Liberty Times Public Opinion Survey Center on the evening of October 12th and 14th. It successfully interviewed 1,039 people over the age of 20 in Hsinchu City. Under the 95% confidence level, the sampling error was plus or minus three.
