In the underground parking lots of Moscow, sleeping places, heaters and first-aid kits have been installed in case the premises are used as bomb shelters.

This is reported by the Russian publication "Vazhnye istorii".

Residents of the houses of the "Atom" housing co-owners association in Moscow told journalists that notices about the preparation of bomb shelters were placed on the doors of their houses.

Owners of cars in parking lots are asked to vacate them.

The announcement states that such a decision was made on October 11 at a meeting in the Moscow City Hall.

A resident of one of the houses of the association of co-owners of housing said that there is an order to check all bomb shelters, and in the house chat it is reported that bunk beds, first-aid kits, heaters will be brought to the parking lot.

The first preparation of shelters in case of shelling in Russia began in the spring.

On April 27, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Mykola Patrushev, instructed the southern Russian regions to "bring the protective structures of civil defense into proper condition."

We will remind that the expert told what types of buildings can withstand shelling.

The safest houses, in his opinion, are new buildings built in the last 10 years.

Monolithic-frame buildings of new buildings are best suited with a protective function.
