On October 14, under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, a working meeting on the transport situation was held in Baku.

According to the information provided to APA by the Cabinet of Ministers, the state of implementation of the tasks given during the extensive consultation held on October 3 of the current year regarding the regulation of public transport activities was discussed at the meeting.


During the discussion, the preliminary draft of the Action Plan on the problems existing in the field of road transport in Baku and considered possible to be solved in a short period of time was analyzed.


The Plan of measures includes increasing the capacity of roads, expanding the carrying capacity of public transport, regulating traffic on roads and other issues.


Issues related to the continuation of structural reforms in the field of public transport, administrative, infrastructural and organizational measures were also discussed at the meeting, and tasks to be performed within a specific time were given.
