On the morning of October 14, President of Ukraine

Volodymyr Zelenskyy

congratulated defenders of Ukraine on the Day of Defense.

A poignant video appeared on his page in the social network.

"You are fighting for Ukraine, independence and freedom for all future generations. Absolute heroes. People with a capital letter. Our defenders," the head of state succinctly wrote. 

The video combines shots from the peaceful city, as well as from the front line and already de-occupied our settlements.

"You changed your life so that ours wouldn't change," the video emphasizes. 

As a reminder, 

October 14 is the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.

This is a great state holiday, which is designed to honor all those heroes and heroines who courageously defend our native Motherland from enemies.
