The first few installations of the NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system will be delivered to

Ukraine

already this month.

This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, on the air of a nationwide telethon.

"There is a US decision to supply us with the very famous NASAMS system: the first few installations. Training of our specialists is already underway. And they will be delivered this month," he said.

He also announced that Ukraine will receive the IRIS-II air defense system from Germany in October.

According to him, Ukrainian fighters are already completing their training there.

We will remind you that the Ministers of Defense of the NATO countries held the sixth Ramstein-format meeting in Brussels dedicated to military aid to Ukraine.

The West supported 

the provision of air and missile defense systems to Ukraine

 after 

Russian missile strikes on Ukrainian cities

 and energy infrastructure.

In addition, the German government previously decided to provide Ukraine with four 

IRIS-T anti-aircraft missile systems

, the first of which has already arrived at its destination.

Also, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said that London 

will provide missiles

for NASAMS air defense systems to Ukraine.

They can shoot down cruise missiles launched by Russia.
