NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that if Russia uses nuclear weapons against Ukraine, it will "fundamentally change the nature of the war."

The Secretary General of the Alliance said this at a briefing after the meeting of NATO defense ministers.

"If Russia uses any nuclear weapon against Ukraine, it will have serious consequences. Russia knows about it. Some NATO allies have communicated this to Russia in various ways. We will not reveal how exactly we will react. But, of course, this is fundamental will change the nature of the conflict. This will

mean the crossing of a very important "red line".

Even the use of low-yield nuclear weapons is

a very serious step that will fundamentally change the nature of the war in Ukraine,

and this, of course, will have consequences. And Russia knows that the consequences will ", he emphasized.

The Secretary General also commented on the information from the Alliance official, which was previously published in the media, that in the event of the use of nuclear weapons by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, there is a high probability that Ukraine's allies and, possibly, NATO will give a "physical response". Stoltenberg did not confirm or deny this.

The threat of a nuclear attack by the Russian Federation

Ukrainian military experts do not rule out that Putin may dare to launch nuclear missiles.

If this happens, the Western military will probably sink the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation and destroy the Russian troops in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi suggests that there is a risk of Russia using nuclear weapons.

At the same time, despite the nuclear threats of the Russian dictator Putin, Europe should not allow itself to be blackmailed, but on the contrary - should show the Russian dictator that he is in isolation.
