Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, called on the world to recognize the genocide of Ukrainians committed by Russia.

In his opinion, this can be evidenced by mass executions, rapes and propagandists' statements about the "dismantling of Ukraine".

The adviser to the OP chairman wrote about this on Twitter.

Mykhailo Podolyak emphasized that the call of the US congressman and co-chairman of the Helsinki Commission, Steve Cohen, to recognize the genocide was correct.

He added that Russia does not hide its intentions and plans to kill as many Ukrainians as possible.

"Strikes on civilian infrastructure, mass executions and rapes, forced deportation, family separation, destruction of Ukrainian literature in schools, official statements about the "dismantling of Ukraine". Steve Cohen is right: Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine. This must be recognized at the official level." - emphasized Podolyak.

Recognizing Russia's crimes as genocide of Ukrainians

Russian propagandists, deputies and officials in the Kremlin have repeatedly announced the so-called solution of the "Ukrainian question", which experts compare with the plans of Nazi Germany to solve the "Jewish question".

Russian occupiers in the occupied territories of Ukraine mass-kill Ukrainians, rape them, forcibly deport them to the territory of the Russian Federation, and destroy Ukrainian literature.

After de-occupation, the military found mass graves of victims of Russian aggression in Ukrainian cities.

This was the case in Buch, Irpen, Izyum, Lyman, Sviatohirsk and other settlements.

Senior adviser to the Congress, Paul Massaro, reported that the US Congress has submitted bills on recognition of Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism and a draft law on recognition of Russia's actions in Ukraine as genocide.

The Senate of the Czech Republic has already recognized the crimes committed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine as genocide of the Ukrainian people.

Also, Canada officially recognized Russia's crimes against Ukraine as genocide of the Ukrainian people.

Latvia and Estonia adopted the same decisions.
