Russia is ready to supply additional volumes of gas to Europe in winter.

According to APA's Moscow correspondent, Russian President Vladimir Putin said this in his speech at the plenary session of "Russian Energy Week".

"If we agree with the Europeans to supply gas through the right undamaged branch of Nord Stream 2, which has a gas capacity of 27.5 billion cubic meters, which is about 8% of all European gas imports, Russia this delivery is ready to start.

The ball is in the European Union's court.

If they want, let them open the faucet and that's it," Putin said.
