The occupying forces of the Russian Federation kidnapped at least 529 peaceful local people in the

Zaporizhzhia region

, whose fate is currently unknown.

Oleksandr Starukh, the head of Zaporizhzhya OVA, announced this on October 12.

Starukh says that after the fake so-called "referendum" and the signing by Putin of a "document" that has no legal force, about the alleged "joining" of the Zaporizhia region to the Russian Federation, the occupiers almost completely blocked the exit of Ukrainians from the occupied part of the region.

"Over the past day, about 60 people left, although earlier, last month, 1.5 thousand people left those territories (per day. - Ed.), because it is very difficult to live there: there is no gas, electricity is in question, medical assistance is limited," the official said.

We will remind you that in recent weeks, Russia has been shelling Zaporozhye, in particular, civilian infrastructure, every day.

That night, the occupiers shelled the region again.

In one of the villages, a family of three was hiding from Russian missiles in a cellar and was blocked there when the house was destroyed by a missile.

Citizens were rescued by the State Emergency Service.

And during the night of October 12, Russia fired as many as seven S-300 missiles

at Zaporizhzhia  .
