Currently, there is no reason to say that the actions of

Belarus

threaten the security of Lithuania, but there is a danger for Ukraine from the side of Minsk.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielus Landsbergis, writes Delfi.

"All these conversations are more like a cry for help to me. According to the information we have, the economy of Belarus is in decline, it has collapsed due to sanctions and isolation," said Landsbergis.

At the same time, he drew attention to the fact that the war in Ukraine is unfolding unsuccessfully for Russia and is dragging Belarus into the pit as well.

That is why equipment is being exported from the Republic of Belarus, which will probably be used against Ukraine at the front.

According to the minister, Lukashenko is trying to create additional problems for Ukrainians.

"Politically, Lukashenka does not even have the same legitimacy as in Russia. Putin is happy to support the war, but Belarus does not. Apparently, the only thing he hopes for is to create additional problems for the Ukrainians in this way, forcing them to maintain their strength in the northern part of Ukraine," added Landsbergis.

Belarus is at war against Ukraine

It should be noted that Belarus has been participating in the war against Ukraine since February 24.

It was from the territory of Belarus that Russian troops attacked Kyiv.

From there, the Russian Federation launches missiles at Ukraine.

Earlier, on October 9, the Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Arvydas Anushauskas, stated that Belarus began to declare an alleged threat of an attack from the territory of Ukraine, because

Russia wants to force Ukraine to withdraw its troops

from hot areas to the northern borders.

Instead, the General Staff stated that there was no

threat of an attack from the territory of the Republic of Belarus as of October 10.

However, the regime of the self-proclaimed president of Belarus continues to support the armed aggression of Putin and the Russian Federation, provides bridgeheads for strikes on the territory of Ukraine and weapons.

Meanwhile, on October 11,

an inspection of the Republic's Armed Forces began

in Belarus by order of Oleksandr Lukashenko .

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus declares that during the inspection, military units and units will allegedly work out the issue of bringing them to combat readiness, marching, and deploying in the designated areas to perform training and combat tasks.
