"Azerbaijani Army liberated our lands from occupation by crossing the Ohanyan barrier, which Armenians consider impassable".

According to APA, this was said by Colonel Elshad Abilov, deputy commander of the military unit of the Ministry of Defense for ideological work and moral and psychological support, at the conference on "Armenia's war crimes against Azerbaijan in the last 30 years" organized by the Social Research Center (SRC).

Elshad Abilov, speaking on the topic of "Armenia's war crimes on Azerbaijani lands", noted that Azerbaijan responded to Armenia's war crimes by liberating its lands: "At this time, the requirements of any international convention were not violated.

Under the 30-year occupation, our cities, villages, and entire infrastructure were destroyed."

Elshad Abilov noted that after the 44-day Patriotic War, Armenia's provocations were given a decent response, and the Azerbaijani Army showed its strength again: "The enemy does not provide us with mine maps, and the maps they have made do not fully meet the requirements.

After the Patriotic War, Azerbaijani Army soldiers discovered and neutralized 21,573 mines and unexploded ammunition on 27,590 hectares of land.

During this period, 8 servicemen were killed and 85 servicemen were injured as a result of mine explosions.

Elshad Abilov, who said that newly buried mines were discovered in Lachin and Kalbajar after the 44-day Patriotic War, pointed out that the mass cemeteries discovered in the villages of Farrukh and Edilli confirm the war crimes of Armenia: "We are sure that new mass graves will also be discovered, because up to 4 thousand of our citizens were killed in the First Karabakh War is missing."

The colonel stressed that the Azerbaijani Army is ready at any time to resolutely respond to any step of Armenia or any state against our sovereignty and territorial integrity:

"If the Armenians living in our territories accept the citizenship of the Azerbaijan state and want to live, then they should not cause any provocations or make us angry.

If this happens, they will see the decisive reaction of the Azerbaijani Army."
