New Delhi:

A cloth trader was shot dead by miscreants in Delhi's Bindapur area.

The entire incident of murder has been recorded in the CCTV camera installed on the spot.

The police got information about the incident at around 12.30 in the afternoon.

The name of the deceased is Mohit Arora (32), who was riding a scooty with his brother.

Then two miscreants on the bike came and started shooting at Mohit and then fled.

The injured Mohit was taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment.

Police is now searching for the accused with the help of CCTV.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) M. Harsh Vardhan, the information about the firing was received at Bindapur police station around 12.30 pm.

The injured was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The Deputy Commissioner said that Arora was returning home with his brother on a scooter from their sari shop when two men on a motorcycle stopped him and one of them shot Arora.

Thereafter the accused fled from the spot. 

He said that in connection with the said incident, a case has been registered at Bindapur police station under sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Arms Act.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the police is scanning the CCTV footage of the area to trace the accused.
