The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, called for speeding up the delivery of anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems to Ukraine after the bloody shelling of Zaporizhzhia. 

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote about this on Twitter. 

Kuleba emphasized that Russia continues to commit terrorist acts against the citizens of Ukraine, and therefore he called on the international community to speed up the delivery of modern defense systems to Ukraine. 

"Russia continues missile terror against Zaporizhzhia. Overnight, 12 attacks on residential buildings, at least 12 killed and even more injured. Ukraine needs more modern anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems to save innocent lives. I call on partners to speed up deliveries," Dmytro Kuleba wrote.

Rocket attacks on Zaporozhye

On the night of October 9, Russia fired missiles at high-rise buildings in Zaporizhzhia.

12 rockets were fired in the city, most of which hit residential buildings.

The bodies of 12 dead people have already been found at the scene of the tragedy, and another 49 people have been injured. 

This is not the first missile attack on Zaporozhye.

On October 6, the occupiers bombarded the city with 7 rockets.

Then 19 people died. 

On October 7, the occupying army attacked Zaporozhye with the help of Iranian drones.

One of them hit an infrastructural object, the other fell into the courtyard of a high-rise building and injured a person.
