Ukrainian defenders at the front continue to destroy the Russian occupiers: the Armed Forces repulsed six enemy attacks, fired at the occupiers' air defense systems.

Because of the fighting, hospitals in the Kherson region are overflowing with wounded occupiers. 

This was stated in the message of the General Staff on October 8.

Due to the large losses of the occupiers, local hospitals in the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region cannot cope with the flow of wounded occupiers.

Up to 30 wounded Russians were brought to the children's clinical hospital in the city of Lysychansk, Luhansk region.

Additional medical personnel have been sent to the specified institution.

During the current day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Biloghorivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Krasnohorivka, and Terny.

During the current day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made seven accurate strikes against the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

In addition, Ukrainian air defense units shot down one Orlan UAV.

"For the current day, missile forces and artillery hit eight areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, two warehouses with ammunition and ten other important objects," the General Staff reported.

The Russian occupiers are trying to storm the ZSU in the Avdiiv and Bakhmut directions.

Also, the aggressors launched three rockets and carried out 16 airstrikes over Ukraine over the past day.

In total, more than 15 settlements of Ukraine came under fire. 

Also, the Russians continue to shell Ukraine with mortars and other types of weapons, in particular, using Iranian attack drones.
