Fuel prices are rising again in Greece, with gasoline and diesel reaching 2 euros per liter with a tendency to increase in price, according to gas station owners, reports BNR. 

On the islands, fuel is more expensive due to transport.

More expensive fuels have pushed commodity prices up again.

The Ministry of Development has reached an agreement with supermarket owners and retailers to hold back price increases on 50 essential products.

Stores will inform customers about the cheapest groceries.

Today, negotiations are also underway with manufacturers to regulate, as far as possible, wholesale prices, said the line minister, Andonis Georgiadis.
