Vande Bharat Express is being repaired after the buffalo collision.

The Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express collided with a cow near Anand station in Gujarat on Friday, damaging the front of the train.

In Thursday's incident, 

The newly introduced semi-high speed train had hit a buffalo a day earlier and a front section had to be replaced.

Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway said, "There is a small dent in the front part of the train."

He said that all the passengers are safe.

Vande Bharat Express is being repaired after the buffalo collision.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that such collision with cattle is inevitable and "this has been kept in mind while designing the train".

The minister said, "The front part of the train on the front

 can be changed completely."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the train last month and traveled in it from Gandhinagar till Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad.

According to the Railways, the train accelerates to 160 kmph in just two minutes and offers better ride comfort than other trains.

Let us tell you that this is the third Vande Bharat train of the country.

Earlier Vande Bharat trains are running between New Delhi and Varanasi, New Delhi and Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
