Earlier, the European Union adopted an eighth package of sanctions against Russia due to the annexation of the four Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson.

The new package includes a legislative framework for setting a price ceiling for Russian oil, as well as restrictions on the sea transport of crude oil and oil products to third countries, BTA adds.
