The armed forces of Ukraine

continue to de-occupy settlements from invaders.

In particular, several settlements on the eastern bank of the Ingulets River were liberated, forcing the Russian troops to retreat to the south in the direction of Kherson.

This was reported in a recent report of the Institute for the Study of War.

Analysts emphasize that in the northern part of the Kherson region, the Ukrainian army has begun the destruction of undermanned Russian troops in this area.

Moreover, the Russians were forced to move south from the border of Kherson - Dnipropetrovsk region in the direction of Beryslav.

In this way, the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces destroys Russia's attempts to transfer additional ammunition, reserves, mobilized people and means of defense to advanced positions, the ISW emphasizes.

Also, Ukrainian troops continued to achieve success in the eastern part of the Kharkiv region west of Svatovo, advancing past the Oskil River.

In this way, Russian positions in the Luhansk region are increasingly threatened.

"These achievements, along with other Ukrainian offensives on the eastern bank of the river, effectively deprived Russian forces of the opportunity to use the river as a line of defense," the report says.

We will remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine

accelerated the counteroffensive on two fronts at once

- the eastern and the southern.

The occupying forces of Russia are forced to retreat in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as in the Kherson region, WP writes.
