During the current day, the occupiers launched three rocket and two air strikes, carried out more than fifteen attacks from rocket salvo systems.

This was stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on October 5. 

The occupiers are trying to keep the temporarily captured territories, they are concentrating their efforts on trying to disrupt the active actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas, and they are not stopping their attempts to conduct offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv areas.

"The enemy is regrouping the units of its troops in separate directions. The enemy continues shelling the positions of our troops along the contact line, carries out remote mining of the territory in separate directions and conducts aerial reconnaissance. Strikes the civilian infrastructure and the homes of civilians, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of warfare. There remains a threat of air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine.
