According to information, during the meeting attended by Kristin Haydon, EBRD's chief adviser on competitive management and political issues, Lizaveta Trakhalina and Nikola Lipari, consultants of the international organization, Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of IITKM, discussed the work done in the direction of improving the business and investment environment in Azerbaijan. gave information about achievements and reforms.

At the same time, he noted the target indicators adopted in the country's development strategy for the next 5-year period and the practical approaches that ensure their implementation.

The document "Overview of the investment environment and action plans for the country" which is a joint project of the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development was discussed at the meeting.

The purpose of the document, which is currently in the next round of consultations with the government of Azerbaijan, was to identify priority areas for reforms and potential technical assistance activities to improve the business environment.

Vusal Gasimli also answered the questions of international experts at the online meeting, which was attended by the department heads of IITKM, Rashad Huseynov and Vusala Jafarova.
